During the 1990s, UTalca established various corporate goals, highlighting the need to increase the internationalization of academic activities and fostering the actions of professors and students in a global and multicultural society. Accordingly, the International Affairs Office (RRII) was created.

Mission Statement: To establish, develop and consolidate connections with national and international institutions, in order to promote cooperation in scientific research, teaching and student exchange.

Vision Statement: Our vision is to become a unit that provides a service of excellence for students, faculty and professionals of our Institution, in order to contribute to satisfy all the needs of the current and future higher education environment.
